Skill level: INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED You should know the basic stiches like chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet etc. All new sticthes used in the pattern are explained.
This pattern is written in english, standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process. Instructions are written to make with 2 colors, but can be made with for example 1 color or 3 colors as the scarf in last picture.
Materials Total yardage 660meters / 721 yds Color 1 (here beige) 380 meters / 415 yds Color 2 (here multicolored) 280 meters / 306 yds
Yarn weight is worsted weight (or dk) for all colors.
The shawl in the pictures above are made with the Fibre Co - Cumbria (100g = 216m/236yds) as color 1 and as color 2 is hand dyed Super wash Merino (100g = 164m/180yds). I have also used The Fibre Co - Lore (100g = 250/273yds as color 1 and color 2 is West Yorkshire Spinners - Colourlab DK (color Prism bright 100g = 225m/245yds) This shawl ended up few cm smaller than the other shawls since it is made with DK weight yarn. Shawl with 3 colors (last picture) is made with hand dyed non superwash (Merino 100g = 182m/200yds).
Crochet hooks> 7mm/K/10.5. Check the gauge and use any hook!
