You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained.
This pattern is written in English in standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process (120+ photos in total and the charts for the Triangle/Square Mandala).
Pattern includes instructions for the following sizes XS,S,M,L.
Materials for the top:
* 150(170,190,210) meters or in yds 164(186,210,230) yds of Fine/2 (sport/baby) or Light/3 (DK/light worsted) weight yarn. I use for example Katia cotton stretch (50g=170m/175oz=186yds), Dmc natura just cotton 50g=155m/1.75oz=170yds, Mondial Cotton Bio Soft. Check the gauge (below) and use any yarn that fits into the gauge to end up with the right measures, when following the instructions.
* Crochet hook 3mm/D - 3.5mm/E (check the gauge and use any size hook), smaller hook 2.5mm/C-3mm/D for the picot sts (optional).
* Lycra fabric for the ties (optional).
* Elastic band to sew below bust (optional).
* Some beads if you choose to decorate the cords for the top (optional).
Materials for the bottom:
* Yarn> 320(360,420,480) meters or in yds 350(390,460,530) yds of Fine/2 (sport/baby) weight yarn. I have used for example Katia cotton stretch 50g=170m/175oz=186yds, 83% cotton and 13% polyester, Katia Brisa 50g=125m/1.75oz=137yds and Mondial Cotton Bio Soft. Check the gauge (below) and use any yarn that fits into the gauge to end up with the right measures, when following the instructions.
* Crochet hook 3mm/D - 3.5mm/E (check the gauge), smaller hook approximately 2.5mm/C.
* Lycra/swimsuit fabric for the ties and some beads if you choose to decorate the ties.
